Local Area Agreement targets

Speech by Cllr Zoe Patrick delivered to Cabinet on Tue 18th Mar 2008

We have to do this as it is imposed on us by government. I am pleased that we now we have 35 indicators which I hope will be manageable. I understand from 13. that they are fully resourced but the financial management of the reward grants is still uncertain.

When I was at CCN Council last Friday is was mentioned about how the financial management of LAA2 will be worked out but no one seemed to have the answers.

As lead authority I expect we will receive all the monies, so I am waiting to hear about how this will be shared out amongst our partners who are working to achieve these targets. Hopefully, you will be trying to obtain this information as soon as possible.
