Cllr Jean Fooks presented a petition to the County Council last November, asking for better bus services from North Oxford to Headington, the Churchill, Nuffield and Warneford hospitals and Brookes University. Many residents came to County Hall to support her.

The County Council say they are talking to the hospitals and now hope to extend the 700 service between Water Eaton and the JR hospital to cover the route the petition requested. Jean is pressing for the 700 to travel to Water Eaton via Summertown on ALL journeys and to make more stops for people to get on and off.
